Faith Factor
Faith Factor is the children’s ministry of CCCSH. Children ages Pre-Kindergarten through 5th Grade come together on Sunday mornings to learn the teachings of Jesus Christ through dynamic Bible instruction. The children are shown the love of Jesus and are nurtured as they begin and grow in their faith.
Components
In Faith Factor we follow a Large Group/Small Group format that allows the Right people to serve in the Right roles so that children experience the living Word of God in a way they’ll never forget..
Large Group Instruction: Teaching ALL kids in a Large Group setting at the start of our time allows teachers who are gifted communicators to introduce the Bible story in a fun and creative way. The children are involved in presenting the lesson to each other in a variety of forms - complete with music, props, and silliness!
Small Group: Splitting children into Small Groups allows for age-appropriate instruction and intentional shepherding of children as they grow in their faith. Small group shepherds take the Bible lessons and make them practical and personal for the kids they’ve invested themselves in.
Fellowship & Service: Children are encouraged to connect with God through weekly Bible verses and Daily Challenges, with one another through meaningful discussions and great activities, and with the world through collecting food for Shepherd’s Heart and supporting other outreach ministries throughout the year.
Curriculum
In Faith Factor we utilize the FaithWeaver curriculum from Group Publishing. FaithWeaver lessons encourage people to focus on the one most important thing in life: a growing relationship with Jesus. Our children are encouraged to weave faith into life by applying God’s truth to their daily lives.
Faith Factor leaders are adults within our community of faith who have committed their lives to Jesus Christ and His teachings and have chosen to serve Him by serving our children.
